Sri Lanka stocks close 0.26-pct lower, selling in Asiri, JKH
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s stocks closed 0.26 percent lower on selling interest, provisional data showed.
Colombo’s All Share Price Index (ASPI) closed lower at 13.59 points to 5,310.95 and the S&P SL20 of more liquid stocks fell 0.46 percent or 11.48 points to 2,446.61.
The market turnover was 167.7 million rupees with 47 stocks gaining and 64 declining.
Asiri Hospital Holdings stock was down 1.20 rupees at 19.30 rupees a share, John Keells Holdings fell 0.70 cents to 137.30 rupees a share and Commercial Bank of Ceylon was 0.80 cents down at 91.60 rupees.
