Sri Lanka stocks end 0.34-pct lower on John Keells Holdings
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s stocks closed 0.34 percent lower on Thursday, provisional data showed.
Colombo’s All Share Price Index (ASPI) closed 20.68 points down at 6,108.53 and the S&P SL20 of Index of most liquid stocks fell 0.03 percent or 1.02 points to 2,935.94.
Market turnover was 505.5 million rupees with 57 stocks gaining and 78 falling.
John Keells Holdings was down 3.70 rupees to 163.90 rupees a share, LOLC Holdings fell 7.80 rupees to 169.70 rupees a share and Distilleries Company of Sri Lanka down 40 cents at 18.10 rupees a share. (Colombo/Jan02/2020)
