Sri Lanka stocks ends 0.30-pct lower on Dialog Axiata
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka stocks closed 0.30 percent lower on Monday, dragged down by telco Dialog Axiata, provisional data showed.
Colombo’s All Share Price Index down 17.41 points to 5,776.48 and the S&P SL20 of more liquid stocks fell 0.23 percent or 6.631 points to 2,759.75.
The market turnover was 485 million rupees with 36 stocks gaining and 92 falling.
A crossing in John Keells Holdings contributed 298.8 million rupees to the market turnover, and the stock closed 1.70 rupees up at 151.80 rupees a share.
Dialog Axiata closed 10 cents down at 10.40 rupees a share, Central Finance fell 3.20 rupees to 92.80 rupees a share and Commercial Leasing and Finance down cents at 3.10 rupees a share contributing to ASPI’s decline.
