COLOMBO (EconomyNext) – Sri Lanka’s Deputy Minister of Highways and Investment Promotions Eran Wickramaratne had led a delegation targeting Singapore based investors, the state investment promotion agency said.
The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka said Deputy Minister Wickramaratne had explained that new administration would continue to develop infrastructure in a transparent way and would put in place a framework for business confidence to improve.
The sought more private investment to help the economy grow.
The delegation had met member of the Japanese and Chinese Chambers of Commerce in Singapore and businesses of Sri Lankan origin located in the city state.
The business forum was organized with Japan’s Bank of Mizuho in Singapore.
