Sri Lanka Treasuries flat

EconomyNext – Sri Lanka’s Treasuries yields were flat at Wednesday’s auction with only six and one year bills being sold, the state debt office said.

The debt office sold 6.4 billion rupees of xix month bills to yield 5.83 percent, unchanged from a week earlier and 16.0 billion rupees of 12 month bills to yield 5.99 percent, down one basis points.

Though Treasuries yields are flat, state borrowings from the banking sector has risen sharply in October, official data showed.
