ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s Treasuries yields have eased across maturities at Wednesday’s auction with the three months yield down 06 basis points to 8.35 percent, data from the state debt office showed.
The 6-month yield fell 04 basis points to 7.69 percent and the 3-month yield fell 02 basis points to 7.56 percent.
The debt office offered 22 billion rupees of bills and sold 22 billion rupee, selling greater volumes in longer term bills.
The debt office offered 3.0 billion rupees of bills and sold 2.25 billion rupees. It offered 6.5 billon rupees of 6-month bills and sold 3.85 billion rupees of bills.
The debt office also offered 12.5 billion rupees of 12-month bills and sold 15.92 billion rupees of bills. (Colombo/Oct16/2019)
