Sri Lanka Treasuries yields flat
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s Treasuries yields were flat at Wednesday’s auction with the debt office accepting lower than offered volumes of 12-month bills and taking more on the three and months tenors to keep 12-month yields down.
The debt office sold 7.8 billion rupees of 3-month bills at 7.62 percent, against 7.61 percent at an auction on 10.09.2019, after initially offering only 5 billion rupees.
It sold 5.1 billion rupees of 6-month bills at an average yield of 7.75 percent after offering 3.0 billion rupees, unchanged from an auction of 10.09.2019.
The debt office sold 7.0 billion rupees of 12-month bills at 8.41 percent, unchanged from a week earlier after offering 12 billion rupees.
A total of 20 billion rupees of bills which were the were sold. (Colombo/Sept25/2019)
