Sri Lanka Treasuries yields plunge
COLOMBO (EconomyNext) – Sri Lanka’s Treasuries yields plunged across maturities at Tuesday’s auction with the 6-month yield falling 44 basis points to 6.87 percent, data from the state debt office showed.
The yields fell despite the debt office accepting 23 billion rupees of bids, after offering 16 billion rupees of bids for rollover.
The 12-month yield fell 38 basis points to 6.99 percent and the 3-month yield fell 31 basis points to 6.70 percent.
The debt office said 5.7 billion rupees of 3-month bills, 6.9 billion rupees of 6-month bills and 11.2 billion rupees in 12-month bills were sold.
Sri Lanka’s risk free yield have been on a roller coaster for two weeks.
