Sri Lanka Treasury bond probe report ready for parliament: Harsha

COLOMBO (EconomyNext) – A report of a three-member committee on the controversial auction of Treasury bonds where the son-in-law of Sri Lanka’s Central Bank Governor was the main beneficiary, was ready to be presented to parliament, a minister said.

Deputy Minister of Policy Planning Harsha de Silva told reporters in Colombo Tuesday that 250 copies of the report was printed and was taken to the parliament on Monday.

But due to the disruption of activities and the adjournment of proceedings till next week, it could not be presented, he said.
