Sri Lankans in Singapore remember Easter Attack victims
The Sri Lankan community in Singapore together with some Singaporeans gathered last week to pray for the victims of the Easter Sunday massacre.
The event was organized by the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Singapore in collaboration with several other organizations.
The event saw the participation of more than 500 people including religious dignitaries representing Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity and Islam.
O.L Ameerajwad, the Acting High Commissioner for Sri Lanka called for unity and solidarity with the Government and the people of Sri Lanka to take necessary measures to defeat terrorism.
