Sri Lanka’s 01-yr Treasury Bill yield edges up to 8.35-pct
ECONOMYNEXT – The yield on Sri Lanka’s 01-year Treasury Bill edged back up one basis point to 8.35 percent at Wednesday’s auction while the yields on shorter tenors eased marginally, data from the state debt office showed.
The 03-month Treasury Bill yield edged down one basis point to 7.49 percent and that on the 06-month bill was also down a basis point to 7.65 percent.
The debt office, a unit of the central bank, said it accepted a total of 16 billion rupees worth of bids, the exact amount offered.
