Sri Lanka’s JKH appoints Radhika Coomaraswamy as director
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s John Keells Holdings Plc, said Radhika Coomaraswamy, a retired senior United Nations official has been appointed to its board as an independent director.
Coomaraswamy is the sister of Sri Lanka’s central bank governor Indrajit Coomaraswamy.
Indrajit Coomaraswamy was also earlier a director of JKH.
He resigned after being appointed Governor.
Nations Trust Bank, a unit of the John Keells Holdings is regulated by the central bank. (Colombo/Oct01/2018)
