Sri Lanka’s Lankem buys packaging firm
EconomyNext – Sri Lanka’s Lankem Ceylon has acquired a 72.5 percent stake in J. F. Packaging (Pvt) Ltd. for 600 million rupees, a stock exchange filing said.
J.F. Packaging is engaged in the business of providing packaging solutions.
Lankem Ceylon, which began as an agro-chemicals company, has now diversified into a range of businesses including plantations, agriculture, food and feed ingredients, hotels, paints and industrial chemicals and industrial flooring.
