ECONOMYNEXT – Minister Namal Rajapaksa was sworn in as Sri Lanka’s State Minister of Digital Technology and Entrepreneur Development at the presidential secretariat on June 03, the president’s office said.
Rajapaksa was sworn in before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, his uncle.
The 35-year-old Hambantota District MP, whose father is Prime Minister and former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, also holds the portfolios Sports and Youth Affairs. (Colombo/June03/2021)
