Sri Lanka’s NDB plans Rs10bn debt sale

COLOMBO (EconomyNext) – Sri Lanka’s National Development Bank said it plans to sell up to 10 billion rupees of unsecured debentures which will be listed in the Colombo Stock Exchange.
The bank said it had decided to sell 7.5 billion rupees of debt, with an option for a further 2.5 billion rupees subject to regulatory approvals.
Tax free listed debentures have become popular over the last two years.
