SriLankan Paris flight lands in Iran for medical emergency

COLOMBO (EconomyNext) – State-run SriLankan Airlines said an aircraft on route to Paris had landed in Tehran following a medical emergency.

Flight UL563, boound for Charles de Gaulle Airport Paris, had landed in Tehran Khomeini International Airport on medical advice to offload a passenger who had developed chest pains mid-flight.

The passenger was hospitalized and the aircraft refuelled and took off after a 3 hour and 45 minutes delay, the airline said.
