Udaya Seneviratne appointed Sri Lanka President’s secretary

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s President Maithripala Sirisena has appointed Udaya Seneviratne, a recently retired as Secretary to the Ministry of Science and Technology as Presidential Secretary, after the resignation of Austin Fernando.

Seneviratne has 37 years of experience in the public service, a statement from the President’s office said.

He has been Secretary to the ministries of Sports, Highways, Investment Promotion, Mahaweli and Environment.  (Colombo/July06/2018)
