ACL Cables wins Rs1.8bn cable deal from Sri Lanka power utility

ECONOMYNEXT – ACL Cables has won a contract worth 1.78 billion rupees to supply aerial bundled cables to Sri Lanka’s state power utility, Ceylon Electricity Board, the state information office said.

The contract to supply 3,000 kilometres of cables for the CEB was approved this week by the Cabinet of Ministers on a proposal by Ravi, Karunanayake, Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development.

ACL Cables had sales of 16.3 billion rupees in 2018.
