Boutique hotel to be built at Sri Lankaâ€™s Waters Edge
ECONOMYNEXT – The Sri Lankan government has approved a proposal to build a boutique hotel at the Waters Edge hotel complex in the capital Colombo’s suburbs.
Waters Edge had made a profit of Rs240 million in 2017, according to the proposal by Patali Champika Ranawaka, Minister of Megapolis and Western Development in charge of the Western Region Megapolis project.
His proposal to built a 48-room urban boutique hotel at Waters Edge to further improve its facilities was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers this week.
