Covid-19 Sri Lanka deaths rise to 137, two home deaths in Bandaragama
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka has confirmed seven Coronavirus deaths on December 05 including two Covid-19 home deaths from the Bandaragama areas, official data shows with 669 new Coronavirus cases being discovered.
A 91-year old male from Bandaragama had died at home on December 03. He has had a heart attack linked to Coronavirus.
A 53-year old male prisoner had died on December 01. The prison was not given. He has had a Covid-19 linked pneumonia.
A 56-year old female had died in Dematagoda. She was being treated at the ICU in the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Colombo. She had died on December 04 with pneumonia.
An 81-year old female from Bandaragama had died on November 28 at home. She has had lung infection and a heart condition.
An 84-year old female from Colombo-13 had died at home on December 04. He had Covid-19 linked pneumonia.
A 66-year old prisoner from Welikada had died at the prison hospital on December 02. He had Coronavirus linked pneumonia.
A 62 year old female from Wellampitiya had died at the IDH while receiving treatment on December 05.
Sri Lanka confirmed 669 new Coronavirus cases on December 05, taking the total to 27,228.
Cases under treatment had risen to 7,0001. (Colombo/Dec06/2020)
