Curfew in Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Puttalam districts to continue till April 27

ECONOMYNEXT – Curfew that was scheduled to be relaxed in the Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara and Puttalam districts will continue to be imposed till 5 am, April 27 (Monday), the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.

In other districts, curfew will continue till April 24 (Friday) from 8pm to 5am.

Curfew in these districts will continue from 8pm Friday (24) to 5am Monday (27), meaning that curfew will continue throughout the coming weekend.

Travel to and out of the Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara and Puttalam districts will be strictly prohibited.

Regulations previously imposed on carrying out essential services and agricultural activities remain unchanged, the PMD added. (Colombo/Apr20/2020)
