Curfew in Sri Lanka’s Negombo until 7.00 am Monday
ECONOMYNEXT – Police curfew has been imposed in Negombo, Sri Lanka to maintain public order, police said.
There had been some unrest between two groups of people.
The unrest had been triggered by an argument between two persons, which had escalated, police said.
People travelling abroad would be allowed to travel through Negombo by showing their air tickets, police said. (Colombo/May05/2019-SB)
