Dee Liyanwala made head of LSEG Technology Sri Lanka
ECONOMYNEXT – LSEG Techology Sri Lanka, a unit of London Stock Exchange that develops securities trading software, ealier known as MillenniumIT has appointed Dee Liyanwala as its head.
Dee Liyanwela said, “I’m very happy to see the success and the growth of LSEG in Sri Lanka, and I am proud to have played a part of that growth. LSEG Technology, formerly MillenniumIT, has been instrumental in this journey.

Liyanwela joined LSEG in 2013 and has been implementing the Group’s off-shoring and near-shoring activity and is also head of the LSEG group shared services unit in Colombo.
He was previously an Executive Director of LCH, a global clearing house and was responsible for Listed Derivatives, Equities and Fixed Income Technology.
Liyanwela has over 20 years of experience in building technology platforms, managing various technology functions and delivering services via global delivery centres.
LSEG Technology’s trading and settlement system was deployed at over 40 locations including LSE’s own markets in London Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana, Turquoisem.
