Hemas Logistics ups laden container handling at Sri Lanka terminal
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s Hemas group said its logistics arms had expanded its capacity to handle loaded containers with a new 45 ton container handler.
Hemas said its laden container terminal helps customers store imported raw materials in full container loads awaiting manufacture. Goods bound for export can also be stored awaiting vessels.
For food storage power plug in facilities with back generators is also offered.
Ms. Kasturi Wilson, Managing Director of Hemas Transportation sector who believes in partnerships for growth, whilst thanking the customers said,
"We are committed to expand our integrated portfolio of logistics solutions, as we believe in giving the best to our customers," Kasturi Wilson, Managing Director of Hemas Transportation sector said.
The laden container terminal provide bulk storage allowing exporters to hedge against price movements and also ensure a constant flow of materials, Hemas said.
