ECONOMYNEXT – Mastercard said it was offering Sri Lankan cardholders a range of discounts at top hospitals in Asia, such as Singapore’s Raffles.
The credit card company said in a statement that savings of up to 40 percent were available in its partnership with Global Health and Travel and Fullerton Health on medical packages at hospitals in Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
“Mastercard has an extensive suite of benefits and privileges uniquely created for business and leisure travellers,” said R. B. Santosh Kumar, Country Manager, Sri Lanka and Maldives, Mastercard.
Mastercard cardholders can get 15 percent savings on specially curated medical packages from Global Health and Travel when paying with their credit cards issued in Asia Pacific, from now until January 31, 2020.
Partner service providers include Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Raffles Hospital and Medical Clinics, and Thomson Medical Centre, Singapore; Sunway Medical Centre and Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) Hospitals, Malaysia and Bumrungrad International Hospital, Thailand.
The partnership with Fullerton Health offers Mastercard cardholders special rates on health screening packages from now until December 31, 2019.
They can get discounts of 40 percent at HMMP, Hong Kong; 20 percent at Fullerton Health, Indonesia; 15 percent at Fullerton Health, Australia; and 10 percent at Fullerton Health, Singapore and COSSB, Malaysia.
