Sri Lanka’s tourism industry that took a major hit after Easter Sunday attacks last year is facing a bleak future because of COVID 19 and the lack of foreign tourists.
In a few areas domestic tourism is keeping some hotels at low occupancy rates, but overall the current situation is dire. (Colombo, June 26, 2020)
