No extra school sessions to make up for missed lessons
Extra school sessions will not be held to cover lessons that were missed due to the temporary closure that followed the Easter attacks, the Ministry of Education said today (10).
Issuing a statement, the Ministry said it has requested schools to amend the academic curriculum in a way that will cover all subjects in their entirety.
The Secretary to the Ministry of Education has instructed the heads of the schools to implement the learning–teaching and evaluation process for the second term as usual.
Meanwhile, the Education Ministry has informed school communities to continue studies as usual despite a drop in student attendance, the statement said.
