Police on the lookout for one more terror suspect
Police requests public assistance in finding the whereabouts of a suspect linked to the Easter bombings.
The four sketches above were made according to descriptions provided by four separate eye witnesses, police said.
Police are asking the pubic to call on 011-2422176 or 011-2392900 with any information that might help in the arrest of the individual.
According to Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara, the suspect, along with Cinnamon Grand bomber and copper factory owner Mohamed Ibrahim Insaf Ahmed had sought technical assistance for the vehicle found parked near St. Anthony’s Shrine in Kochchikade the day after the attack. Security personnel subsequently blasted the explosive-laden van in a controlled explosion.
According to Gunasekara, the suspect had sought help in adjusting the vehicle’s seats in order to fit the explosives.
