Sri Lanka 06-, 12-month Treasuries yields fall sharply

ECONOMYNEXT – Yields on Sri Lankan Treasury Bills fell across maturities at Wednesday’s auction, with sharp falls in 01-year and 06-month bills, the public debt department of the Central Bank said in a statement.
The yield on the 03-month bill fell 04 basis points to 9.56 percent, that on the 06-month bill fell 22 basis points to 10.01 percent and the 01-year bill yield fell 21 points to 10.18 percent.
The debt office said it got bids worth Rs156 billion and accepted bids of Rs24.5 billion.
