Sri Lanka and Vietnam aim for billion US dollars of trade
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka and Vietnam aim to expand bilateral trade to a billion US dollars, open aviation access and boost tourism in the wake of talks between the prime ministers of the two countries.
Talks between prime ministers Wickramasinghe and Nguyen Xuan Phuc involved boosting trade, investment and tourism, a statement said.
It was decided to set up a body with private sector participation to lead the effort.
Relations between the two defence universities of the countries will also be strengthened. (Colombo/Apr18/2017)
