Sri Lanka calls for private investors to set up internal airline service
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s government is to invite private investors to set up an internal airline service in partnership with the Sri Lanka Air Force, a spokesman said.
A proposal made by President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, to call for proposals to set up an internal airline service with public-private partnership was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The internal airline service is to be established according to criteria of the International Civil Aviation Authority.
