Sri Lanka Coronavirus isolates Hunupitiya, Cinnamon Garden sections, more areas released

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka is isolating Hunupitiya Grama Niladari division in Slave Island, sections of Cinnamon Gardens and Wellawatte police in Colombo and sections in Wattala, Peliyagoda and Kiribathgoda police areas.

In the Cinnamon Gardens police area, 60-watte and Kokila Road in Wellawatte will be isolated from 0700 hours Monday along with Hunupitiya.

In the Wattala police areas, Kerawalapitiya, Hekiththa, Kurunduhena, Evariwatta and Welikadamulla GS divisions will be isolated from 0500hours on Monday 07 December.

Other areas in Wattala police divisions are released.

In Peliyagoda police division Peliyagodawatta, Peliyagoda Gangabada, Meegahawatta and Pattiya – North GS divisions will be isolated from 0500hours Monday.

Other areas in Peliyagoda are released.

Kelaniya police areas is also released from Covid-19 isolation.

In Kiribathgoda, Welegoda North GS division will be isolated from Monday.

Isolation would be lifted in Kelaniya police division

Isolation will be lifted in Bloemendhal and Wijayapura GS division of Wellampitiya police ares.





Following police areas in Colombo will continue to be isolated.

Dam Street
Wekanda GS division of Slave Island Police area
Wanathamulla GS divison of Borella police area
Salamulla GS division and Lakssanda Sevana Housing scheme in Wellampitiya
Randiya Uyana Housing Scheme and South Ferguson Road in Mattakkuliya Police division.
