Sri Lanka export firms in Gampaha to run during Coronavirus curfew: EDB, BOI
ECONOMYNEXT – Export companies in the Gampaha district would continue to operate during a Coronavirus curfew Sri Lanka’s Exports Development Board and the Board of Investment said.
“Export companies in the Gampaha district can continue to operate during the curfew period strictly following the Covid 19 Health Guidelines and all preventive measures for the pandemic, with consent from the Relevant Health Authorities,” the EDB said.

Health authorities have found over 200 infected workers in factories in the Katunayake Export Processing Zone in a number of factories.
“The functions of the companies in Katunayaka, Biyagama, Wathupitiwala, Malwatta and Mirigama Export processing zones are expected to continue production while strictly adhering to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health,” the BoI said.
“Addition to the above zones the BOI registered factories located outside the zones too will be function accordingly.”
