ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka port development will be the focus of a forum conducted by Advocata Institute on February 12 amid attempts to build terminals in Colombo with as public private partnerships.
There had been opposition to complete the East Container Terminal with foreign participation.
Nalaka Godahewa (State Minister of Urban Development Coast Conservation, Rohan Masakorala, Chief Executive Officer Shippers’ Academy, Colombo, Asanga Abeyagoonasekera, Strategic Advisor on Geopolitics and International Security.
Dhananath Fernando, Chief Operating Officer, Advocata Institute will moderate the event. Sathya Karunarathne, Research Executive, Advocata Institute will also join.
The in person event will be held on Friday, February 12, at 6.00 PM at BMICH, Lavender Hall of the BMICH.
