Sri Lanka government departments issue Coronvirus hotlines
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s government departments have published telephone numbers, emails and officers for members of the public to contact amid the COVID-19 curfew.
The Registrar General’s Department has made arrangements for the registration of mortgage deeds related to essential services.
The department can be contacted through the following numbers:

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has launched a special program to provide required services to patients undergoing treatment from the clinics of the National STD/AIDS Control Program.
The Central Clinic in Colombo will also be supplying medicine and services from Monday to Saturday from 2.00 am to 12 noon.
Director of the National STD/AIDS Control Program Dr Rasanjali Hettiarachchi said those who are unable to attend their respective clinic can attend a clinic nearest to them.
Telephone numbers of the clinics conducted by the National STD/AIDS Control Program are available at www.aids control.gov.lk.
Dr Hettiarachci also added that the SMS sent to patients who attends their respective National STD/AIDS Control Program clinic could be used as a curfew permit.
The Civil Aviation Authority has also decided to extend the ban on arriving passengers by one week to April 07 from March 31, but aircraft will still be able fly in with cargo, transit passengers and fly out with outbound passengers.
The Civil Aviation Authority has also issued the hotline number 1912 for tourist assistance.. (Colombo/Mar31/2020)
