Sri Lanka Investment and Business Conclave 2017 to draw FDI
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s Ceylon Chamber of Commerce said it will hold a two day from May 30 to June 01 to draw foreign direct investment and promote tourism and international trade.
The Conclave 2017, on the theme of Growth through Partnerships” will focus on bringing in investments into agriculture, apparel, education, export manufacturing, export services and knowledge services, tourism, energy, telecom, ports and recycling of waste.
"Sri Lanka’s diplomatic missions overseas and the 127 Chambers of Commerce, which the Ceylon Chamber has partnerships will help promote the forum.
Last year participants from 127 countries had attended.
Ministries of Development Strategies and International Trade, of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Industry and Commerce, The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, Department of Commerce, Sri Lanka Export Development Board, Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB) will back the event.
The chamber said The International Trade Centre, Geneva, World Chambers Network, Beijing Lansing Overlook International Exhibition Co. Ltd. and JETRO Colombo is also helping.
