Sri Lanka long tenor bonds yields up
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s long tenor government bond yields rose Monday amid heavy selling by one gilt dealership, market participants said.
While 2 and 3-year bond yields rose about 05 basis points, tenors above 7 years rose around 20 to 30 basis points, dealers said.
In forex markets the one week forward dollar were quoted at 147.50/75 rupees by early afternoon, weaker from Friday’s close of 146.65/85 rupees.

2-year bonds (15.10.2018) quoted at 11.25/35 percent around same levels are Friday.
3-year bond (01.05.2019) quoted at 11.60/75 percent about 05 basis points up.
5-year bonds (01.08.2021) quoted at 11.90/12.00 percent up 05 basis points
5-year bonds (01.03.2021) quoted at 11.85/95 percent up 05bp
7-year bonds (01.10.2022) quoted at 12.10/25 percent up from 12.00/10
8-year bonds (01.01.2024) quoted at 12.60/65 up from 12.45/50
10-year bonds (01.06.2026) 12.80/85 percent up 12.55/70
