Sri Lanka makes public two reports on missing persons, massacre

ECONOMYNEXT – Reports by two commissions of inquiry on missing persons and killing of relief workers is being tabled in parliament, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said.

The Maxwell Paranagama commission and Nissanka Udalagama commissions inquired into missing persons and the killing of 17 charity workers during Sri Lanka’s civil was during the last regime, but the reports were not made public.

Prime Minister Wickremesinghe said he was tabling the reports in parliament on October 20 and a debate will be held on Thursday.
