Sri Lanka petrol price cut to Rs136 a litre
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s government will cut fuel prices from midnight Wednesday with the price of litre of 92 Octane petrol down by two rupees to 136 rupees under a pricing formula meant to reflect costs, the Finance Ministry said.
The prices of 95 Octane petrol will be cut by five rupees to 159 rupees a litre and that of ‘Super Diesel’ cut by five rupees to 131 rupees a litre.
The price of auto diesel remains at 104 rupees a litre, a statement said.
