Sri Lanka starts selling US$500mn syndicated loan: report
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka has started marketing a 300 million 3-year syndicated loan, with an option to go up to 500 million, a media report said.
Bloomberg Newswires said investor meeting will be held in Singapore on July 12 and Dubai on July 13, citing unnamed sources.
The loans is being arranged by Citi, Emirates NDB, Mashreq and CS Singapore.
It will be a 3-year loan paid back in instalments.
Media reports in Sri Lanka said the attorney general had raised concerns over a clause that may trigger as bullet repayment. (Colombo/July01/2016)
