Sri Lanka to seek investor for 14.5 acre land in capital
ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s cabinet of ministers had given the nod to seek an investor for a 14.5 acre land in a suburb of the capital Colombo belonging to the State Engineering Corporation.
Housing Minister Sajith Premadasa had suggested getting an investor to start a ‘mega development project’ on the land, and the SEC to get income by leasing the land, a statement said.
The land is in Peliyagoda, near the entrance to an expressway leading to the airport and facing the road from Colombo to Negambo.
The land has a partially completed two storied steel building of 8,600 square metres and few other single storied buildings.
