Sri Lanka’s Bogala Graphite says strike resolved

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s Bogala Graphite said labour unrest at its mine has been resolved and production has resumed.
Work at its mine at Aruammana had been disrupted on May 10, the firm said in a stock exchange filing.
The firm had negotiated with the trade union with the involvement of the government’s Department of Labour and work had resumed on May 12, the firm said.
The company is controlled by Germany’s Graphit Kropfmuhl Gmbh.
