Sri Lanka’s Capital Alliance powered by Oracle, Millennium IT

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s Capital Alliance Limited (CAL), an investment banking group, has rolled out a cloud-based system that will allow the group to boost customer service and regulatory compliance, MilleniumIT, which implemented the system, said.

The Oracle Sales Cloud, with customer relationship and data management capabilities, will be used by Capital Alliance treasury, unit trust management, equity and corporate finance businesses.

"Thanks to Oracle Sales Cloud, we have managed to centralise our customer onboarding process and streamline our compliance, ‘Know Your Customer’ validations and approvals for all our downstream trading and transactional platforms," Ajith Fernando, Managing Director of Capital Alliance Limited, said.

Oracle Sales Cloud will improve CAL’s sales efficiency, real-time automation to update vital data, MIT said. The data management platform will provide consistent authoritative data.

Faiq Faaiz, Managing Director of MillenniumIT, a unit of London Stock Exchange group, said it was the first implementation of Oracle Sales Cloud for an investment bank."This solution will undoubtedly enhance their customer relationships and give them an added advantage in their day-to-day financial summaries," he said.

Chandita Samaranayake, Head of Applications Oracle Sri Lanka said Oracle Sales Cloud can give CAL the completive edge to stay ahead of the competition.
