Sri Lanka’s Kandy get Rs3.0bn Heritage Valley housing development
ECONOMYNEXT – Walkers CML Properties (Private) Ltd, a unit MTD Walkers Plc group has launched a 3.0 billion rupee housing project in Sri Lanka’s central hill city of Kandy for state workers.
Branded ‘Heritage Valley’ the development will give state workers preferred pricing. It is part of a government project to build 25,000 affordable housing units for state workers.
Ajith Dharmathilaka, Sales and Marketing Manager of Walkers CML Properties (Private) Limited said the firm looked forward to continued support from the Ministry of Public Administration it sought to build similar housing projects in other areas in Sri Lanka.
The 3.0 billion rupee project involves multiple tower blocks and is built in Kundasale, Kandy. (Colombo/July14/2016)
