Ten new cases of COVID 19 reported today – DG Health Services
ECONOMYNEXT – Ten new COVID 19 positive cases have been reported today the Health Ministry said bringing the total infected in Sri Lanka to 879.
Nine of the new cases are from the Sri Lanka Navy while the other was from the Kandakadu Quarantine Centre, the Director-General of Health Services Dr Anil Jasinghe said.
This also brings the total from the Navy Cluster at the Welisara Navy camp to 478 which is more than half of the total COVID 19 patients in the country.
In all 366 patients have been discharged from hospital after full recovery and 504 infected patients are currently being treated in hospitals. (Colombo May 12, 2020)
