ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka has given a contract to France-based aerospace and defense group Thales to modernise its flight information management system, the state inforatiton office said.
Thales Air Systems S.A.S. has won the contract worth a total of 3.3 million euros plus 65 million Sri Lankan rupees for the installation of a Flight Information Management System.
The island called for international bids for the flight management system and received bids from French and Canadian firms.
