Trains headed South from Colombo blocked by private bus stuck on tracks at Colpetty
ECONOMYNEXT – A private bus is blocking the South-bound Railway track at the Colpetty Train station after it hit the perimeter wall and fell on to the track as it was being reversed.
Trains heading South from Colombo have been stopped as a result.
Bystanders say the bus was being backed into the normal parking spot for the 177 Kaduwela buses when it went out of control, broke through the perimeter wall of the Railway Station and fell on to the track completely blocking it.
They said it was being driven by someone who was not the regular bus driver.
Police and Railway Officials are at the scene.
